liAttr, aAttr, etc. are ugly

I'm sorry to seem ungrateful, because I really like UI.Next, but I find that most of my HTML elements have attributes, because I'm using Zurb Foundation, and this means that I'm having to use liAttr, ulAttr, aAttr, divAttr, etc. all over the place, and it looks ugly.

The recent change to make these functions lowercase, so that they read like the HTML elements we are used to, was a good idea, but with 'Attr' on the end, they don't look like HTML elements at all.

I'd almost prefer to include a list of attributes all the time, and supply an empty list if I don't have any attributes to specify:

div [] [text "Hello"]

Was there some reason you guys didn't take that approach?

I often think the same, I would actually like to find a better syntax too. I don't like suffices, others don't like special operators, etc., so it's unlikely we can find an alternative that will please everyone.

It feels that the majority of DOM nodes don't have attributes, so the current syntax is likely to stay but we are always open to alternatives.

BTW, you can easily redefine these HTML functions, or at least the ones you need the most with attributes, something like:

open WebSharper

[<JavaScript>]
module Alternative =
    let div atts els = divAttr atts els

This way, you can just bring these into scope after opening WebSharper.UI.Next.Html, or just instead of it:

let stuff =
    div [...] [...]

OK, that's what I shall do.

For what it's worth, div [] is one character shorter than divAttr :).

Ignore that comment. It doesn't make sense for the situation where you don't want to specify any attributes.
