Pipe and filter architecture in functional programming (F#)

Hi everyone,

I am interested to know how to deal with pipe and filter architecture style in functional programming.

Can you suggest which constructs in F# I should look into and if possible to provide me an example?

Hi,

your question is very general. I guess it's rather pointless to fire some random code-snippet at you. Just look into some real F#-code or snippets ([link:fssnip.net] might be a good starting piont) and you will find both.

To be a bit more specific, how can a pipe (which is an unbounded buffer and into which elements can be pushed) be realized in functional programming (F#) ?
