The naming conventions used in the language/library have been fixed for more than a year, see the release notes that accompanied Beta1:

The example of invalid_arg is just a bug in the spec document, thanks for the bug report.

Languages like C# rev with new versions of Visual Studio, which tends to happen every two or three years, and it is fair to expect that F# is on a similar schedule, now that F# has shipped with VS2010.

Old convention : Ocaml.

New convention : .NET.

ResizeArray seems to follow the new convention as far as i can see under VS 2008 + F# 2.0 (intellisense).
