If I define the following fn, I will not be able to step into it:

let test i = function

| _ -> 9

If you nest it in another fn:

let tester i =

let m = function

| _ -> 9

m i

Then you will see that if you set a breakpoint anywhere in the inner fn, that when run, the breakpoint will be disabled and debugger thinks that the DebuggerNonUserCode attribute has been set on the fn.

This happends not only in this case, but in some other cases:

let testo i =

let testi = function

| R_Pass ->

let t = 4

printf "%d\n" t

t

| _ -> 42

testi i

In the case R_Pass is a union case I have defined in another module. Interestingly, if I replace R_Pass with a new disc. union defined just above the fn, it will not have this problem.

Anyone else see this? - or is my system (or am I) fubar?
