I am trying to write an ASP.NET MVC2 application using VS Studio 2010 Beta2. The targeted framework is .NET 4.0.

The application uses an F# library which depends on PowerPack.Linq. The application works when debugging from VS on my development machine.

After deploying to the server, which runs Windows Server 2003, with IIS 6.0, the application does not work.

I have taken the steps to run a ASP.NET application in IIS 6.0.

I have first tried with .NET 4.0 installed alone (in addition to .NET 1.0 or 1.1 which comes preinstalled). This first attempt failed due to a version mismatch: Apparently, the system tried to load FSharp.Core 2.0.0, and failed, probably because it was not installed. Instead, I had deployed a local copy of FSharp.Core 4.0.0 with my application. I no longer have the full text of the exception, but it seems happened when loading the Powerpack.Linq dll (also deployed as a local copy).

After installing .NET 3.5 SP1 and the October CTP, it seems the system succeeded to load the PowerPack.dll, but now I get an exception instead:

EDIT: Actually, I can reproduce the error of the first attempt by uninstalling the October 2009 CTP:
