Why not use Make? That's normally what I use. Of course, you could probably use NAnt, but I personally haven't tried it.

Thank you for your answer. I might try make. Problem is I spend time with my code both in VS in windows and in VIM/mono in OS X*. I guess then I have to keep the make files and the solutions in sync manually?

Does anyone know if CMake can create F#-projects and/or make-files?

* I run windows/VS in a vmware virtual machine and with a laptop, using VIM directly in OS X is much smoother.

I'm not sure if CMake can work with F#-projects, but you CAN run Make on Windows (via Cygwin or otherwise). Also, I'm not sure if its still available, but there used to be a VS add-in for mono which would convert VSProj files into Make, Gmake, and CMake equivalents. I'd post a link but I can't seem to remember the name of the darn plug-in.
