Calling a C# function from F#

I have to call an ordinary C# function from F#. I've got all the references included, but the function is requiring a C# - style function call (parentheses, commas between arguments.) But I get an F# error if I use C# syntax for the function call. How do I do this?

I've seen a couple posts here on calling a C# delegate from F# but not on calling a C# function. And I saw an advertisement that this is included in the F# samples that can be downloaded from MS, but it's not in the current zipfile of samples.

What is the error you get? This should 'just work'.

I get the error is "The value or constructor 'x' is not defined." if the argument is x, even though I defined x previously. But it is type-checking the arguments, because if I enter an int where it's expecting float, I get "The expression has type int but is used here with type float.", and it says "float" not "double".)

Can you post the code (F# snippet causing the trouble and C# snippet of code you're trying to call)?
