Thanks for the report; I debugged this and there's a StackOverflowException in the error-reporting mechanism in the compiler. This appears to be fixed now in our internal development bits. You can probably work around this by getting that fragment of code to compile (e.g. using the command-line compiler and possibly building it bit by bit to find errors; I think maybe every line of BlockTransform had an error where you were adding an int32 to a uint32 or something? I forget...).

I've already fixed the bug in my source files and VS does not crash any more, for now.

Maybe it's a sign, that new CTP of F# should be released soon, if such a simple project with only 300 lines of code was able to crash VS :)
