You will have to install .NET, there's on escaping that. For the F# libraries i.e. FSharp.Core.dll you can either statically link via the compilers --static-link switch or you can redistribute the FSharp.Core.dll library with your app, it just needs to be in the same directory as your app on the target machine.

Hi,
I just wrote a small GUI app in F# (my first one ever). It runs perfectly fine on the computers that FS and .NET 2.0 is installed. But here's the problem.
I installed the .NET on the machines that I want to run the app on. Now when I run the app on them, it gives me the error "Cannot find assembly FSharp.Core" or something similar. Naturally the app runs perfectly fine on any of the machines that F# is installed.
Will i have to install F# on every machine that I want to use the app on? I would also like to avoid installing .NET but I dont suppose there is a way to avoid that.
