This is an interesting problem; your analysis of the state of the world today is good - the language is indeed restrictive here. We are still working to come up with a clean solution for dealing with 'very many recursive entities spanning multiple files' as well as 'recursive entities spanning multiple modules/namespaces'.
Out of curiosity, why can't the compiler simply do a pre-pass to pick up all of the types? Also, why does recursion make this problem any harder?
Because of type inference I suppose.

Hi,
as far as I'm aware I can only reference types that are higher up the the compile order. But in my case all classes have to interact with each other, so the only way I see is to put them all in one file and use "and" to connect the type definitions.
However this will result in the whole programme being in one single file which does not help to make it any more readable.
I could create an interface, but without a generater (is there one maybe?) very tiresome. And how could the interface use "and" to connect types and still put them into different modules?
