How are exceptions handled within async operations? I know I've read about this *somewhere*, but can't put my finger on it at the moment -- so just a pointer to the appropriate docs would be great.
I'm attempting to use a thrown exception to return a value (and ultimately to cancel sibling operations). This is in the context of a tree search and when the desired node is found I want to return some info about that node and cancel all the other threads that are searching down other paths of the tree. There is a try/catch around the topmost Async.Parallel |> Async.Run control structure, but it appears the catch is not catching and/or the other threads are not terminating.
