Hi,
I've found the cure of the problem :) There is an "import and export settings wizard" menu under "Tools" menu in VS2008. Select "Reset all settings" and follow the wizard. The issue is gone after the resetting.

Hello,
After intallation of the F# Sep 2008 CTP, I have problem creating the F# project within VS2008 Professional. VS tried to create the project and returned with an error dialog stating, "Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined." I've removed and re-installed F# many times with the same issue.
However, if I log on as adm; the problem is gone.
I am using 32bit Vista Business.
