Have you added a reference to that assembly in the C# project that references Game2?

(Did you need to add such a reference to the C# project when it references Game1?)

Yes. The weird thing is the launcher is able to instantiate the c# class just fine. As soon as i switch from Game1 and Game2 I get the missing reference exception. I know the reference is there otherwise the c# game wouldn't run. Both the c# and f# classes inherit from Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Game.

I'm going to try splitting out the c# game object into its own library and see if there's a problem referencing library projects with references to Microsoft.Xna.Framework.
