F# getting confused by 'abstract internal' member in base class

This could be a newbie error, but here goes.

I'm trying to re-implement a PowerShell SnapIn in F# as a learning exercise. I have the following:

type MyCommandSnapIn() = inherit PSSnapIn()

override x.Name with get () = "MyCommands"

override x.Description with get() = "MyDescription"

override x.vender with get() = "MyVendor"

Overriding the required members. When I compile this I get an error stating that PSInstaller.get_RegKey() and PSInsaller.get_RegValues() are not implemented.

Opening up System.Management.Automation in Reflector I see that these properties are defined as abstract internal in PSInstaller and then implemented by PSSnapIn and PSSnapInInstaller. It looks like F# is not correctly detecting this and flagging the class as abstract.

Or am I missing something. Any insights greatly appreciated.

This is a bug in F# (good find - thanks!); I've logged it.

I can't find any reasonable workaround; you may be forced to use a language other than F# to subclass this.

I kludged around it by building the derived PSSnapInInstaller type in C# and invoking that installer from an F# implementation that derives from System.Configuration.Install.Installer. Seems to be happier now.
