OO, classes, instance methods, and all that is still a very valuable way to structure code at a high level and model your domain. You may find you need fewer classes/interfaces when wearing your 'functional' hat, and that the classes you have are less likely to have mutable state (which makes constructors more important in some sense). Need some help organising and placing code in my project as I am getting used to the functional paradigm - Since its all about passing lambdas as arguments, does it make sense to have instance member methods in classes; shouldnt it all be static methods or library methods and I see more use for structs or tuples than classes - is this correct? And what about constructors - is it a good "functional" habit to use constructors?
