Bump?

Hi there,

I believe the CTP has no command for send-single-line and no default VS

key binding for this. We'll take this as a request to re-enable that (I

like the feature, but we removed it because we found people did not

easily find the feature). I'd be interested to know how others feel

about this.

thanks

Hi,

I found it of limited use - too often I'd have to switch between single-line execution and selection execution. As a result I've not missed its absence.

If this feature were to become indentation-aware, either selecting code blocks that included child scopes of the current line or the parent scope (and placing the cursor on the next line ready for execution), it would streamline the use of VsFsi. You would be then able to rapidly execute from your edit point all the way to the script's end with a single repeated key stroke. Alt-' was a good choice for this, with perhaps Alt-# for parent scope selection.

This should probably be done in step with the implementation of code-folding (which I assume is on the cards), and would allow integration of functions like move cursor to parent scope etc.

regards,

Danny
