Hi, so sorry I cannot read Chinese but someday I will (I got Pimsleur Mandarin Chinese already).

Can I ask you to translate your article into english? In spirit of spreading this fabulous language I give my word I will translate from english into spanish. I am already gathering info and would like all the help I can get to attract spanish speaking developers.

Thanks.

Hi, there. It may not be a problem but will take some time because I want the English version to taste good. I will leave a message here when done.

BWT, are you learning Chinese?

Hi Allen. Do your best english translation, we can work on proofreading together (to make it "taste good", this might be a <i>metaphor<i> you should avoid). About learning Chinese, yes, I took a few lessons, then had to stop because I had to dedicate time to learn Italian. Now I have time again for learning Chinese.

Oh, really? So I'm curious about what's in your mind when you read "taste good"?

If you are interested in learning Chinese, maybe I can help. :) May I ask your name?

My mistake. I was just thinking maybe it does not apply to technical articles, but to literature pieces like novels, essays...but I do not know, maybe you were referring to a delighful and enjoyable technical article on C# to F# which would then be tasteful.

About me: My name is José D'Andrade, 42, software developer and lawyer. Was MCSD between 1997 and 2000. Currently living in Dominican Republic after spending 10 years in Puerto Rico, 2 in Texas and 6 in Mexico. I speak spanish, english, italian, a bit of french, creole and have to (really) learn chinese. I code in VB.NET, C#, Java, PHP, Javascript but I am dumping all of them in favor of F# [:)] ... I am learning the language and documenting my experience in order to write a book about F# in spanish.

Hi, José. I'm glad to know you. My Chinese name is 李永伦. I have been using C# since its first release on .NET Framework 1.0 and Microsoft Visual C# MVP since 2006. Currently I'm living in Shanghai, China and speak both Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese Chinese. I code in C# and now am interested in learning F#. I have started the translation of that article and will get you informed when it's done. [:)]
