Hi Steve,
I don't think the current F# project system supports the Object Browser. However the Object Browser supports assemblies, so you can load your F# assemblies and browse them. Click on the '...' button and select the assemblies you're interested in browsing.
Alternatively you can add a dummy C# project to your solution and add your assemblies as references. This allows you to browse from the 'Class View' tool window (you'll need to select the option 'Show Project References' from the settings button.)
Reflector is also a great tool if you haven't already added it to your armory. ([link:www.aisto.com])

I was playing around with Squeak (a Smalltalk), and it reminded me how much I like the Object Browser approach to incremental development in an OO system. For some reason I never use Visual Studio's Object Browser when writing C# code; not sure why. But since F# development is (or could be) more like Smalltalk development, I figured I'd open up Visual Studio's Object Browser, and look at my F# stuff that way.
Rats: my projects are listed there, but NOTHING is inside them.
Q: Does F# support Object Browser at all?
Q: If so, under what circumstances? I'm just doing little test cases, so haven't explicitly declared any modules / packages / namespaces or whatever they are in F#. Is that what I need to do?
Squeak Smalltalk environment is so nice .. everything is always well organized. The incremental changing of code during debugging is completely awesome. Ah, takes me back to the '80s. This is what it could be like to develop in F#, dang it!
Hmm, so would it be easier to port the Smalltalk VM to F#, or vice versa. Pondering ;D
