Yes, it is out of date. Don told me he's currently preparing a much more detailed spec (I think he said it was 300 pages so far and climbing!), which will be made public when its ready.

The yeild keyword is part of "computation expressions" or "workflows", this basically means you can give it the meaning that you want to. Don has a good explaination in this blog post:

Thanks, good to hear that thorough documentation is well on its way!

I had seen that post a while ago, but didn't really grasp what it was saying. I was shaky on the basics of sequences at the time, so it went over my head.

Examples, lots of examples, that's what works for me :)
