Question
"I am new to F#, and Visual Studio.

I installed the Mysql Connector version 5.2
after 5.1 didnt work and I read on a C# related forum that 5.2 does work with Visual Studio 2008 where as 5.1 does not.

I went to the server Explorer and added a new data connection, mysql works great.

When I goto my code, From what I understand (this is most likey a misunderstanding on my part)
I need to do add a "open Mysql.Data.MySqlClient" which I get the error "The Namespace or module 'Mysql' is not defined." by doing.

Pretty Stright foreward error, I just dont know how to install the mysql namespace, as I thought I already did when I installed the Mysql connectoer version 5.2. "

After typing up this question, but before posting it, I found my solution.
decided to post the question and answer incase anyone else searched the forum for this issue.

You have to add the MySql DLL to your
Project Properties Reference Path (see msdn2 link)

My mysql dll was located at "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Connector Net 5.2.1\Binaries\.NET 2.0"
