let x = rand.Next() is missing
otherwise it get the function reference
aaahhhh!
You know what happens.. I'm so new to this, I'm not even sure that I'm printing correctly, nor do I necessarily recognize what the printout is telling me. However my error didn't occur to me, as simple as it seems.

I thought that I'd be quiet for a little longer, but oh well.
I'm trying to generate random numbers and am not having much success -- either with using System.Random, or with displaying them, or with something else I don't yet understand.
I've got the following code:

let rand = new Random()
let x = rand.Next
printfn "%A" (x)
When I run it, the results are:
val rand : Random
val x : int -> int
<fun:clo@5_1>
Clearly I'm missing something. Can anyone point me in the right direction here?
