How To: Namespaces ?

Hi All,

I have a rather large project that I would like to orgainise a little better. Right now it consits of about 20 files each with a Module delcaration at the top. However, I can't seem to do multiple level module declarations without invoking errors ... without error messages!!!! :(

So, I would like to be able to do something like this

base
base.module1
base.module1.testing
base.module2.submodule 
base.module2.submodule.testing

etc

I've read the section in Don's book on this and it has been no help to me. Any suggestions on how to go about it?

Hi,
the FS file can contain only one top-level namespace or module name declaration (which is written like this):

#light
namespace Base
// or
module Base.Module1

but you can declare multiple modules in a sigle namespace like this:

#light
namespace Base

module Module1 = 
  let foo ...

module Module2 = 
  let foo ...

Hope this helps, if you'll have some more troubles, please post the code that causes the errors, so we can see what's causing it.
