I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't seem to get assembly

level attributes to work. When I attempt to attach one using the [<

assembly : attributeExpr >] syntax indicated in the 1.9.2.7 release announcement,

it instead attaches to the next thing in the file, even if the

AttributeUsage attribute prohibits it. I'm using F# 1.9.2.9.

Test program (shows TestAttribute attached to printAttributes function rather than the assembly):
