Sounds like you are adding the 2.x packages, not the latest 3.x RC ones (which now are named `WebSharper.*`). For this, when you search on Nuget, you need to tick the "Include pre-release" flag. Of course, this is provided that you are using the latest VSIX installer (which is version 3.x).

Thanks, "Install-Package WebSharper.JQueryUI -Pre" did the trick. Funnily enough, that was the last thing I tried before submitting the question - but in the same solution so that the older library was replaced. It looked like it should have worked so I gave up.

Today, starting with a fresh new solution, it worked fine, and I have a shiny new Slider on the Home page.
