FsEye 1.0.0-final has been released. Mostly a polishing of the beta2 release, this release does contain some notable improvements including implementation of Visual Studio Babel icons for visually distinguishing between watch member nodes, filtering out members marked with [DebuggerBrowsable(DebuggerBrowsableState.Never)], and performance fix for the automatic addition of watches from values submitted to FSI which call the print transformer function many times (an implementation detail).

As the iPhone 5 release date gets closer, we’re getting more and more impatient for news. Fortunately there are plenty of loose-lipped figures in the industry ready to let slip the odd tidbit of info. Frankly, it’s what’s keeping us going. Talky shops and Apple source
The ‘talky shops’ we so bluntly crammed into our punsome headline refers to a certain smartphone case outlet, Case-Mate. They ‘leaked’ pictures of their forthcoming iPhone 5 case range (pictured), which – of course – appeared to confirm some of the rumoured features of the device itself.
They’ve been pulled now (it all whiffs of a PR stunt), but naturally some bright spark took a screen grab, then shared it with BGR. The resulting image appears to confirm the rumoured slimmer-but-bigger design, with a tapered chassis – rather like the iPad 2, from the back.
Lending credibility to these images, Apple sources for the NY Times confirmed that the pictures “seemed potentially authentic”. The source also confirmed that the iPhone 5 release date was “just weeks away”.

Production delays?
It’s not all rosey on the iPhone 5 rumour front, though. According to 9to5Mac, there’s been a snag on the production line.
According to the Apple-dedicated news and rumour site, the new device “is seeing continued design and production delays, at least on one assembly line”. This has les the site to predict a slight delay in the release date and even shortages going into 2012. Better get ready to pre-order or book a day off to queue up outside your local Apple store.
The report also sheds a little extra light on the device itself. Apparently it will be “impossibly light”, and the marketing emphasis will be on the 8-megapixel camera, which will apparently rival dedicated point and shoot cameras. We’d adopt our usual skeptical tone, but given the strides taken by the iPhone 4 and other handsets over the past 18 months, we’re willing to believe (if only a little).iPhone five cases
