It all started at the age of 12, when the secrets of C=64 machine language ignited the passion for computer programming. Today, after more than 10 years of professional experience, the sheer excitement and pride of making a new technology "work" is still driving Damjan Vujnovic every day. Damjan has worked on various domains in different industries (e-government, fixed-odds betting, online gaming, social networks, investment banking) and with different technology stacks. He has architected and helped in building several scalable, high-throughput, low-latency transaction processing systems. He's currently running 8 Pointers Limited, a small UK based consultancy that helps teams achieve better software quality and optimise their software delivery process. He has presented at a number of events including XP Day where he presented a session entitled "Fighting the monster - Agile development on top of a legacy database". Damjan also regularly teaches Gojko Adzic's Test Driven Development Workshop as well as his own Advanced JavaScript Workshop at Skills Matter.
