Description
Protocols (and multimethods for that matter) are a means to define APIs which are open to extension to types not anticipated during development of the API providing library.
However things are not as trivial as “just use it.” Careful consideration has to be done. This talk will provide some insight in the details of protocols and considerations for designing an API around them.
