The Bank is the first of the public-facing blog groups that will be used for hubFS announcements. The Bank, "Stuff you can count on, like money in the bank.", will currently start with the following blogs:

1. F# Release Blog - This blog will be used to track the latest releases and news from the F# distributions. This is a community blog, i.e. anyone can contribute, but the focus is on entries for things like "F# 1.1.9.2 Released today", "F# 1.1.5.x Release Notes", etc. The goal here is to keep all members (and eventually the public) up to date with pertinent F# release information on an RSS feed. I expect that if you download F# and find a later release than is on this blog, take a moment and put up an entry. If you find new notes on Dr. Syme's blog or elsewhere, post links or other pertinent information here. This will NOT be managed by the F# Team (unless they want ownership; they can participate as they see fit) as they likely don't want to have to deal with another administrative task for their announcements. I ask that if you post to this feed, that you double check your facts and be certain of the information that you post.
2. Software Release Blog - This blog will be used for all project announcements on The Hub. As we all will be working on projects, it is important to keep track of status, i.e. what is useful when major/minor releases of your works become available. This is a community blog, i.e. any contributor can post to it, so use this for anything that you feel will be pertinent.
3. Article Release Blog - This blog will be used for all article announcements on The Hub. Any time you publish, for public consumption, post up here. As we are in incubation, we will be the only readers of this feed. When we go live, we'll use this feed for announcements of our works. This is a community blog, i.e. any contributor can post to it, so use this for anything that you feel will be pertinent. I'll coordinate with each of you when we "go live".

Please keep in mind that The Bank is public-facing. Communcations on and around this collateral should be done on forums and in private messaging (or email as a last resort). If we need more internal hubFS resources, e.g. THCF forums for this stuff, let me know.

I'm also looking for suggestions for other blogging announcements, i.e. presentation collateral, links to other F# projects not on The Hub (could there be any?; we'll eventually recruit 'em), etc. Give me your thoughts.

Note that I'd like to use DNN for your events calendar, but I'm open to suggestions.

The Bank is considered one of the "core" products of The Hub, i.e. the finished works that hubFS contributors do should be in The Bank (in The Bank, on The Hub; abuse of prepositions will continue).
