Why you said: more suitable for computation
I work with Matlab. I love possibility:
1. ptolt (2D, 3D) graph.
2. variable argument for function (varargin)
3. access to toolbox
4. interface generation with GUIDE
5. help wilth support on the web
But Matlab price is a problem, and you paid extra for each toolbox. sincerely, Matlab is not free ;-)
After use F# (functional programming) for operation on list, seq etc. Il look function arrayfun, cellfun, structfun etc. with matlab
In fact, I am waiting an offIcial product for F#. Also, I am interested by VS 2010.

I just want to learn F#, but I want to clearify the following question:
as I understand F# is more suitalbe for computation areas. but Matlab is more convenient and also powerful. then what kind of advantages of F# would be?
