Using VS2010Beta2, I have an F# project with two files: Program.fs and Lexer.fs.

Program.fs is as follows:

module Program

open Lexer

let bar = 2

Lexer.fs is the following:

module Lexer

let foo = 1

Both files are in the same project, and there is nothing else in the project except the default references VS creates.

Visual Studio highlights the word Lexer in the second line of Program.fs and says "The namespace or module 'Lexer' is not defined.

How do I have one module refer to modules in other files in the same project?

This is such a common problem that I think it needs to be addressed in some way until it's addressed more fundementally.

Is there time to add one Warning to the compiler output whenever there's a FS0039 that says,

"Make sure your source files are ordered in

the solution explorer so that entities are

defined before they are used"

or something?

Actually, instead of a warning, it could be a dialog box with a "[x] Don't remind me again" so people are sure to see it...
