I think it would be harder than you might think: "sealedness" is a feature of IL, so allowing extension of sealed classes would produce invalid IL.
I guess it could be done by wrapping the sealed class with a new type and replicating all its properties/methods and adding the new ones but that'd be pretty ugly...
