Hi all,

The following code works fine by itself:

     [<CustomEquality; CustomComparison>]
   type foo =
      { s: string;
        i: int}
 
      override x.Equals(y) = ...
      override x.GetHashCode() = ...
      interface System.IComparable with
        member x.CompareTo y = ...

(I'm using ... to omit the boring definitions.)
The above works fine and gives:

  with
    interface System.IComparable
    override Equals : y:obj -> bool
    override GetHashCode : unit -> int
  end

However, when I try to enclode the whole thing inside
a module, I get an error:

module Foo = 
     [<CustomEquality; CustomComparison>]
   type foo =
      { s: string;
        i: int}
 
      override x.Equals(y) = ...
      override x.GetHashCode() = ...
      interface System.IComparable with
        member x.CompareTo yobj = ...

It gives the error message: "stdin(75,4): error FS0010:
Incomplete structured construct at or before this point in definition"

where 'this point in the definition' refers to the keyword "type" above.

I get this both with fsi and Visual Studio.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong here? I'm a beginner, so
any feedback will be very highly appreciated - thanks!

Your attribute is indented improperly (the opening bracket should line up with the word "type" below it). I'm not completely sure why it works when not in a module...

Ah, the joys of working with a language that's
not format-free. I'll have to get used to that :)
