Has to be said, though, that there's no problem in consuming WCF REST (or any REST for that matter). Just do JQuery.GetJSON(addr, fun x y -> ...) and you're set.

Unfortunately not. One way would be to call it from the server and then proxy via an RPC method. It's on our enhancement request list, and we will be looking into this.
