How to register a Sitelet composed by both a WebSharper dll and a value returned by FSX files?

I have 2 sources (DLL / couple of FSX files) with a Sitelet in the DLL and some Docs (client + server side) from the FSX files and I want to combine the functionalities given by the FSX files with the Sitelet and then register that Sitelet on my Owin host.

For a Sitelet coming from a DLL, I understand that I must use UseSitelet and provide the binDirectory for WebSharper to find the meta:

appBuilder.UseSitelet(root, Site.sitelet, binDirectory = bin)

And to register a Sitelet coming from a dynamic DLL (without physical DLL) such as execution of FSX, I must register and provide the meta myself:

appBuilder.UseCustomSitelet(Options.Create(pages.Metadata), sitelet)

Now in my case, the FSX execution returns simple Docs+functionalities that will be embedded in the main Sitelet. How can I "merge" the meta from the dynamic assembly with the meta of the Sitelet project so that when I bind the Sitelet, even the Rpc defined in the Sitelet and called from the FSX files will work?

After testing, it seems to work properly as long as the DLLs to be compiled to JS are referrenced as well.

  • Is it possible to bundle all the files created by the compilation of a dynamic DLL (the same way the bundle with SPA works)?

I realised this question isn't related to the initial question. I am closing this question to ask it in a separate one.
